Marcus Rashford has been recalled to the Manchester United squad for their Premier League clash with Newcastle.
Rashford Arrives At Old Trafford After Exit Admission
Marcus Rashford has not featured for Manchester United since his admission to journalist Henry Winter that he is prepared to leave the club to take up a new challenge.
The 27-year-old last featured off the bench in United’s 3-2 defeat to Nottingham Forest on December 7.
However, it appears that he could be in line for some minutes in what could prove to be a difficult match for Ruben Amorim’s side against Newcastle.
Rashford was seen arriving at Old Trafford in a video posted on Manchester United’s social media accounts.

The club showed Rashford arriving for the game with the rest of the squad, kitting out in his club tracksuit and carrying a boot bag.
United then announced that Rashford would start on the bench for the clash with the Magpies.
There is no certainty he will get any minutes. However, should the Red Devils need a goal, it would be no surprise to see him brought on.
Rashford’s return comes amid some key absentees from the squad. Bruno Fernandes and Manuel Ugarte are both suspended.
Mason Mount, Luke Shaw and Victor Lindelof are all out with injuries.
Rashford’s Uncertain United Future
Marcus Rashford’s future at Manchester United has become uncertain following Ruben Amorim’s arrival at the club.
He claimed that he’s ‘ready for a new challenge’ during a bombshell interview with Henry Winter – appearing to suggest his time at the club was nearing an end.
Monday’s match will be United’s final game of 2024. It is also the final one before the January transfer window opens.
Despite his admission, it could prove difficult for Rashford and United to find a club to do business with next month.
Rashford has scored seven goals and provided three assists in all competitions this season.
