Marcus Rashford has laughed off a blunder from Health Secretary Matt Hancock, who called the Manchester United star 'Daniel' in a live TV interview.
On Tuesday, England star Rashford won his battle with government on free school meals over the summer holidays, with Boris Johnson forced into an embarrassing climbdown over his policy not to sanction a programme that would help feed millions of children.
When asked about the reversal on Sky News, Hancock said: "I'll tell you what happened, the Prime Minister talked to Daniel Rashford, he considered it and made his decision. I think it's terrific."
The slip of the tongue led to widespread mocking on social media, with Gary Neville and Gary Lineker even calling Rashford 'Daniel'.
However Rashford soon tweeted in response: "I’ve been called much worse over the last couple of days."

Elaborating on the move on BBC Breakfast, Rashford said: "This is only going to be successful throughout the summer period, so we've bought ourselves an extra six weeks of time there, and then we'll figure out what's next and how we keep taking steps forward.
"I don't want this to be the end of it because I think there are more steps that need to be taken, so we just need to analyse the response.
"Things like data in these type of topics are very important, and it is something that I wasn't aware of beforehand, and now that I am aware of that I'll definitely be watching that closely and seeing the response and how people cope with the situation, how it changes their lives for the better or the problems they might face with the system.
"So there are a lot of things that could change in the future and beyond this campaign."
