Manchester United star Marcus Rashford immediately sent a warning to Pep Guardiola and his Manchester City players after being honoured at the the club's end of season awards.
The England forward has scored 17 Premier League goals in the 2022/23 campaign, 30 in all competitions, and also started the League Cup final in February as United beat Newcastle to end a run of five seasons without a trophy. And he was duly rewarded on Monday night with the Player of the Season and Players' Player of the Season trophies.
But there is still a pivotal game to come for Erik ten Hag's men. This Saturday, the Red Devils face Man City at Wembley in the FA Cup final, with the Premier League champions still on track for an historic treble with their Wembley date followed by a Champions League final against Inter Milan.
That would match the feat of Sir Alex Ferguson's 1998/99 side, with the notion already prompting frenzied debate as to whether the current City crop are superior to that squad. But it seems Rashford, 25, is determined to help end the argument before City even kick off in Istanbul on June 10.
After receiving his awards, he told fans of his immediate priority, and it's not the ongoing negotiations over a new contract: "Make sure United remain the only club to have done the treble," he said. "That's the most important thing."
Rashford himself did miss out on a treble of his own on Monday night, where be became the first Academy graduate to win the Player of the Season trophy since Ryan Giggs in 1998. However, despite several of his strikes being in contention, Antony's stunner against Barcelona was judged the Goal of the Season.

The seemingly-rejuvenated Rashford will be out of contract in the summer of 2024, but Ten Hag has repeatedly expressed his confidence that his new man will sign a long-term deal. And he's even challenged the England star to produce an improved campaign next time around.
"Yes, I think there is more to come from Marcus," he insisted last week. "There's a lot of room for improvement in his game and I'm convinced he can score even more. When you take, for instance, the last 10 games he didn't score many goals. I think only two or three, so yes he can improve. I am happy about what he has done. He has brought himself back."
He's expected to start as United chase a cup double at Wembley, having been rested completely for the win at home to Fulham last Sunday. The forward endured a disrupted end to the season after struggling with illness and injury.
