Rashford hits back at contract reports
Manchester United star Marcus Rashford has fired back at "made up" reports suggesting he could become the top earner at Old Trafford on £400,000 per-week.
Rashford, 25, has returned to his top form this season and netted three goals at the World Cup for England before they were eliminated by runners-up France at the last-eight stage. He only has seven months to run on his United deal, meanwhile, although the club plan to trigger one-year options with him and four teammates.

Amid ongoing interest from PSG and other potential suitors, though, United are wanting to tie Rashford down to longer and improved terms. Reports circulating on social media appeared to claim the club are willing to make their rejuvenated academy graduate the highest-paid player in the squad.
United receive Varane boost
Raphael Varane was only fatigued when he was substituted in the late stages of France's World Cup final defeat to Argentina.
Varane collapsed to the turf in the 23rd minute of extra-time and 113th minute of an absorbing contest that ended 3-3 before Argentina prevailed 4-2 in a penalty shootout.
Manchester United defender Varane started in all but one of France's seven games in Qatar, having recovered from an ankle injury to be named in coach Didier Deschamps' squad.
