Marcus Bingham Jr. has made Michigan State basketball history during Saturday’s game against Purdue. With a block early in the second half against Purdue center Zach Edey, Bingham has tied Xavier Tillman for the most blocks in program history with 153. Bingham will need one more block this season to take over the all-time lead by himself.
Bingham, like Tillman, came to Michigan State from Grand Rapids, Michigan, and the two have been lifelong friends. Now, getting to share this record for even a short time, is something that is memorable to the two.
