Marco Silva provides Rodrigo Muniz injury update ahead of Fulham's clash with Aston Villa

Fulham striker Rodrigo Muniz is likely to be sidelined until early December with a knee injury.

The Brazilian's full Premier League debut was prematurely ended at home to Manchester United last weekend and manager Marco Silva admits he could be out for a month.

"It's not really, really serious, but it's going to prevent him from being involved in the next few games," he said.

"Injuring the knee, you have to be careful. We assessed him and the feedback that I got from the medical staff is that he's going to be a few games out.

"Of course, the international break is going to help us. Probably after the international break, maybe one or two weeks and he's going to be back.

"It's difficult to give a really clear timeline to you about his situation, but let's talk about three or four weeks for him to be back, let's hope."

Silva will make a late assessment on whether defenders Tosin Adarabioyo and Kenny Tete and forward Adama Traore are fit to return to face Aston Villa on Sunday.

Traore joined Fulham as a free agent this summer but has been side-lined since September with a hamstring injury he sustained in a behind-closed-doors friendly.

Centre-back Adarabioyo, meanwhile, underwent groin surgery in September and has been taking part in managed training with his team-mates for a fortnight.

Manager Marco Silva hoped the pair would be fit to be named in the squad for last Saturday’s 1-0 home defeat to Manchester United, but that match came too soon for them.

Right-back Kenny Tete has not featured since September 16 due to a groin injury, and he is not thought to be fit for Sunday’s visit to Villa Park.

Issa Diop is still weeks away from returning from a foot injury that forced him off against Sheffield United on October 7,
