Marco Silva was left gutted after Fulham fell to a late defeat at Arsenal on Saturday.
While much of the attention went on the Gunners maintaining their perfect start to the season with the 2-1 comeback victory, the defeat deprived Fulham of an extension of their own unbeaten start after winning promotion to the Premier League.
Silva told Sky Sports: “All the credit is for my players, all the credit is for them, the commitment, the attitude, the organisation from the first until the last minute.
“[We were] better on the ball in the second half than the first. The first half, not as much time with the ball as we'd like to have. In the second half, we had more time to have the ball, more space as well.
“It happened like we expected and we deserved much more from the game, definitely. In terms of points, we deserved much more.
“The bad luck we had this evening with the two goals we conceded, one of them the deflection and the other, I don't know how they scored.
“Many positives we took, but unfortunately the main thing in football, the points, we haven't taken.”
