TalkSPORT pundit Jermaine Pennant has blasted Marc Roca for not being Premier League standard after his performance against Manchester City. Pep Guardiola's side were rampant at times against Leeds United, despite a resolute first-half display.
A brace from Erling Haaland and a goal from Rodri gave City the lead before Pascal Struijk reduced the deficit in the second-half. The reigning Premier League champions could have been out of sight, with Jack Grealish wasting a number of golden opportunities.
Following the final whistle, Leeds midfielder Brenden Aaronson admitted that the Whites need to improve, with them teetering just two points above the relegation zone. Roca was among a number of poor Whites' performers against City only completing 26 passes.

Roca failed to win a tackle and failed to complete a cross while also being dribbled past twice. The Spaniard also lost four out of his ten duels contested and gave away two fouls in the process.
Former Liverpool midfielder Pennant didn't hold back with his assessment of the Leeds United midfielder. He said: “I can’t see the quality apart from Gnonto. He caused problems. They looked flat.
"Oh, Marc Roca. I would’ve hooked him. Dragged him, pulled him out after 25 minutes. Lad, get a shower. That is not Premier League standard.”
