Cucurella responds to City links
Brighton left-back Marc Cucurella has refused to rule out a summer transfer to City but has denied any contact with Pep Guardiola over a potential move.
Cucurella has been linked with City as they look to strengthen their defence this summer, with left-back an ongoing issue. Joao Cancelo has been first choice on his weaker side when everyone is fit, with Aleks Zinchenko deputising well as he so often does, and Nathan Ake also providing cover.
But with Benjamin Mendy suspended by the club, City lack a natural left-back and may enter the market for a specialist in that position. In recent reports, Cucurella has been named as a potential option to boost the defence after a solid season at Brighton.

Robertson sends message to Man City
Liverpool star Andy Robertson has sent a message to City ahead of next season after his side missed out on the Premier League title by just a point.
City produced an incredible comeback against Aston Villa to overturn a two-goal deficit and secure the three points needed to ensure the Premier League title remained in Manchester. Liverpool, meanwhile, defeated Wolves 3-1 on the final day but were never top at any point on Sunday.
Ahead of his side's Champions League final against Real Madrid, Robertson sent a message to the Blues in preparation for the 2022/23 season. He told Liverpool's website: "It was extremely close, missing out by a point again, being over 90 points, it's incredible.
