Many former Cardinals players honored before Saturday’s ‘Back to Football’ practice

On Saturday, the NFL held its “back to football” weekend, the first weekend of most team’s training camp.

The Arizona Cardinals participated in that. While it was a regular practice and fans were in State Farm Stadium, head coach Jonathan Gannon addressed the crowd and the team recognized many alumni players.

Many are familiar names.

I did my best to catch the introduction of every player, but these were the former Cardinals  who were on hand and announced to the crowd:

  • Michael Bankston (DL, 1994-1997)
  • Jeremy Bridges (OL, 2004-2005, 2009-2011)
  • Anthony Clement (OL, 1998-2004)
  • Rick Cunningham (OL, 1992-1994)
  • Jerome Daniels (OL, 1998)
  • Leonard Davis (OL, 2001-2006)
  • Russell Davis (DL. 2000-2005)
  • Kylie Fitts (LB, 2019-2021)
  • Patrick Hunter (CB, 1995)
  • MarTay Jenkins (WR, 1999-2002)
  • Kevin Kasper (WR, 2002-2003)
  • Deuce Lutui (OL, 2006-2011)
