Manly have signed Wests Tigers hooker Jake Simpkin on a two-and-a-half-year deal as the Sea Eagles search for extra coverage at dummy-half.
Simpkin will arrive at Manly immediately, becoming the latest player to leave the Tigers before the end of their contract.
The hooker's arrival comes as regular Manly dummy-half Lachlan Croker continues to battle an inner-ear issue after a concussion.
Croker has not played for Manly since suffering a concussion against Canberra a month ago, with a timeline on his return yet to be set.
Karl Lawton has been filling in for Croker at No.9, but will leave Brookvale at season's end for North Queensland.
Young gun Gordon Chan Kum Tong is another option at hooker for Manly, but he started the year in reserve grade and is off contract at season's end.
Simpkin has played five games for the Tigers this year, with the majority coming off the bench.
