Police have tracked down a sex offender who was believed to have been last seen in Northumberland.
Northumbria Police shared an appeal on behalf of Devon & Cornwall Police to locate James Campbell, 51, who was wanted on prison recall since November last year.
Officers believed that his last known location was Berwick-upon Tweed on April 7. They had previously released a photo appeal to locate him after he was thought to have been spotted in several locations across England, including Middlesbrough.

He has now been located and detained, and Devon & Cornwall Police thanked the public for their support in finding Campbell on their social media channels.
