A manhunt has been launched for a Merseyside fugitive who is wanted on recall to prison.
Police are looking for Jamie Williams, known as 'Scouse Jay', who was previously sentenced for possession of an offensive weapon. Merseyside police is the second police force to launch a hunt for the 38-year-old, who was also wanted my Lancashire police in 2018.
The force said he was previously wanted for offences of aggravated burglary, driving while disqualified and failing to attend court. At the time, police constable Dave Benson, of Lancashire Police’s Tactical Operation urged members of the public not to approach him.

Williams has distinctive tattoos including a picture of Shankly gates, a tribal tattoo, Never Walk Alone and LFC written in blue ink and the Liverpool Football Club crest. On his right arm he has the Liver Bird emblem with LFC written underneath.
He is from Melling, however has links to Swansea. Williams was also previously linked with Blackpool, Accrington, Blackburn and Hull.
A Merseyside police spokesperson said: "Have you seen this man? We are appealing for help in finding a 38-year-old man from Sefton who is wanted on a recall to prison for breach of his license conditions. Jamie Mark Williams from Melling has breached his license conditions following a sentence for possession of an offensive weapon.
"He is described as 6ft 4in, blue eyes, short blond hair, medium build and has a Liverpool accent. He also has a number of distinctive tattoos on his left arm including a picture of Shankly gates, a tribal tattoo, ‘Never Walk Alone’, ‘LFC’ written in blue ink and the Liverpool Football Club crest.
"On his right arm he has the Liver Bird emblem with ‘LFC’ written underneath. Williams also has links to Swansea. If you see him or hold any information call 101, contact us ‘Merseyside Police Contact Centre’ on Facebook or anonymously to Crimestoppers on 0800 555 111 with reference 22000198750."
