Two men are being hunted by police in Belfast following reports of an armed robbery in the Antrim Road area of North Belfast. Police are appealing for information and witnesses following the robbery yesterday evening (October 9).
Detective Sergeant Ash said that two men entered a commercial premises around 7.25pm and demanded money from the till. The till was handed over and the two men left the building and made off in a dark-coloured vehicle.
DS Ash said: "One of the suspects, dressed all in black and wearing red gloves, was carrying a knife. The second man is described as wearing a blue face mask, grey tops and grey shorts with grey trainers.

"The suspect who was armed with a knife approached a member of staff behind the till area and demanded money. A till was handed over with a sum of money inside and both of the men made off and turned left onto the Antrim Road - making off in a dark-coloured vehicle.
"The staff member while physically unharmed was left shaken by what was obviously a terrifying experience for them."
Police want to hear from anyone who was in the area at the time and may have any information or seen the the suspects matching these descriptions. They ask anyone who can help to call 101 quoting reference number 1479 of 09/10/22. Prior to the police appeal, it was reported that Maxol Service Station Fortwilliam, opposite the junction of Fortwilliam Park, was sealed off following a suspected robbery at the Spar shop attached to the garage. Reports said that it was the third such crime in the area in the past week.
Local MLA Caral Ni Chuilin tweeted: "Robbery at the Spar/Garage at Fortwilliam. Thoughts with staff and any customers in the shop at the time. Anyone with any information should pass on to PSNI."
