Mango wows shoppers with £35 dupe of Fendi’s £2,350 baguette bag

Shoppers are going wild over this high street designer dupe - and it’s the perfect accessory to brighten up your wardrobe as we head into Spring.

Fendi was the first to design the original baguette IT bag, creating the iconic handbag in 1997. The baguette bag has enjoyed a resurgence in popularity recently with many influencers and celebrities flaunting the iconic accessory on their arms.

But, what’s not changed over the years is the hefty price tag, and if you can’t justify splashing out over £2,000 on the bag (us neither), fear not as Mango has got our backs with an amazing dupe for just £35.99 - bit of a difference, hey?

At under £40, Mango's Embossed Cross-Body Bag looks far more expensive than its small price tag and is sure to stand the test of time with its premium feel and classic look.

The cute bag features an embossed design, similar to the one found on Fendi’s, and comes with an adjustable and detachable long strap meaning it can be worn as a shoulder bag or cross-body. If you’re not into colourful accessories, there’s also a black option too which we’re loving.

Simple, elegant and super versatile, the dainty size is great for keeping your look minimal. Designed to fit nicely with any outfit, you could team the bag with jeans and a T-shirt for a cool off-duty look or pair it with a silky dress for classic 90s style.

At 9.06 inches long and 5.12 inches high, the handbag is obviously not the roomiest of bags so you will have to streamline your daily essentials. But the bag is big enough to fit your phone, purse, keys and small make-up bits.

The only thing missing, of course, is the Fendi logo and gold-finish metalware, but seeing as you’re saving a whopping £2,315, we think it’s ok to let that one slide.

This isn't the only Fendi dupe we've spotted on Mango. The baguette dupe also comes in Fendi's iconic jacquard brown and black fabric however the 'FF' logo has been changed to 'M'.

It'll cost you just £35.99 instead of the origional which is priced at £2,350.

The design also comes in two other colours including a blue and white design and a white and multi-coloured design - perfect if you're looking to add a pop of colour into your wardrobe.
