Mandira Bedi posts 'then and now' photo in the same saree she wore for ICC Cricket World Cup in 2003

Mandira Bedi, who is known for doing popular television shows like Shanti, Aurat and Ghar Jamai among others, shared a 'Then and Now' post on Instagram today (November 2) wherein she is seen sporting the same saree that she wore when she hosted ICC Cricket World Cup in 2003.

The photo may be 19 years apart but Mandira looks just the same, rather more elegant and stunning in the saree she wore almost two decades ago. For the unversed, it was during her stint as a host that the 'noodle straps' of her blouses were the most talked about.

Mandira captioned her new post as, "Same saree. Same person. 19 years later 🤪 #worldcup2003 #righthererightnow."

The actress is being showered with praise in the comments section. One user wrote, "Remember seeing you in that long hair look years ago at the Bangalore airport and we did exchange hellos."

Another wrote, "Even prettier... Salute!" There are others who called her 'stronger' and 'fiercer'.

Well, years down the line, Mandira is still open to hosting a cricket tournament again.

The actress earlier this year told ETimes TV exclusively in an interview, "Why not? I have had similar offers but from news channels. I don't believe that the viewer would switch from the host channel to a news channel to watch a discussion etc. So if it's on a host channel, I would certainly like to take it up."

Of late, Mandira has not been seen on television but she has been busy with other project on the digital platform.
