A mandatory evacuation order has been put in place as a new fire has rapidly spread across approximately 50 acres on the border of Los Angeles and Ventura counties. The fire, initially named the Kenneth Fire and briefly referred to as the Kennis Fire, is currently burning in Woodland Hills, moving southward, according to the Los Angeles Fire Department.

The Los Angeles Fire Department has issued a Mandatory Evacuation Order for the area from Vanowen south to Burbank Blvd, and from County Lane Road east to E Valley Circle Blvd. This evacuation order is immediate and applies to all residents within this specified area.

Residents in the affected area are urged to evacuate promptly and follow all instructions from emergency personnel to ensure their safety. It is crucial for individuals to adhere to evacuation orders to prevent any potential harm or danger posed by the spreading fire.
