Manchester wins Women's Euros for England as United and City stars make the difference vs Germany

Three players who play for Manchester United and Man City, respectively, played huge roles in securing the European Championship after England defeated Germany 2-1 in incredible fashion on Sunday evening.

Manchester United attacker Ella Toone came off the bench to score the opener for England, before Germany responded with just 10 minutes to go when Lina Magull scored as Germany pressed for an equaliser.

But in extra-time with 10 minutes to go, Manchester City striker Chloe Kelly was there to score the winner from a corner to send England fans into delirium.

And whilst Kelly and Toone scored the goals to win the competition, United goalkeeper Mary Earps made a number of highlight saves to keep Germany at bay.

England fans have reacted after the Manchester stars helped the Lionesses on the biggest stage.
