Matej Kovar leaves Man United on loan
Manchester United goalkeeper Matej Kovar has joined Sparta Prague on a season-long loan.
Kovar, 22 , has also signed a new United contract until 2025, with the option of an additional year.
The Czech Republic 'keeper spent loan spells at Swindon and Burton in the last two seasons and had agreed to join Cheltenham on a season-long loan in July.
However, that planned move was scrapped as United struggled to recruit a back-up goalie until Martin Dubravka arrived on loan from Newcastle on transfer deadline day.
Kovar joined the United academy from FC Slovácko in 2018 and he was included in manager Erik ten Hag's pre-season tour squad.
