Manchester United youngster Amad has confirmed he is enjoying his football on loan at Sunderland in the Championship.
Amad, 20, signed for Sunderland on a season-long loan in August and his performances have impressed United club staff since Tony Mowbray's appointment at the Stadium of Light, which has seen him become an integral first-team member.
The Manchester Evening News reported in November that Amad was one of the players that United had the option to recall in the January window if they wished, but Erik ten Hag recently admitted he was reluctant to halt his progress.

"We consider everything but I have a little bit of reservation about [recalling Amad] because I don’t want to stop the process," Ten Hag said about his future two weeks ago. "He has made really good progress there so I’m happy with that.
"But young players need experiences and when we decide for him to come back, he has to be a player who can compete for the starting XI or minimum to come on for a lot of games and make an impact."
Amad was named the Championship's Player of the Month for December ahead of the weekend and he continued his excellent form against Middlesbrough on Sunday afternoon, where he scored his side's second goal in a 2-0 derby victory.
The loanee was named man of the match for his performance and he reflected on his time with Sunderland after the game. "Yeah I missed a chance in the first half, but today was not an easy game. The important thing was the three points," Amad said.
"A lot, a lot [enjoying his football]. I enjoy every game. Every match is not easy, but we try to win every game."
Amad is contracted at Old Trafford until the summer of 2025.
