Manchester United XI vs West Ham: Starting lineup, confirmed team news and injury latest for game today

Alejandro Garnacho has returned to the Manchester United squad for today’s clash with West Ham.

Erik ten Hag welcomes back the winger to the bench after 12 games out with an ankle injury.

But Raphael Varane and Lisandro Martinez are among those not fit for the Premier League trip.

The young Argentine forward has been missing since March but may now feature from in east London.

That is a major boost for Erik ten Hag, particularly given the tight turnaround following Thursday night’s loss at Brighton.

United will largely be working with the same squad, with both Scott McTominay not yet ready to return.

Elsewhere, Wout Weghorst replaces Anthony Martial in attack with Luke Shaw again at centre-back.

Man Utd XI: De Gea; Wan-Bissaka, Malacia, Lindelof, Shaw; Casemiro, Eriksen; Antony, Fernandes, Rashford; Weghorst.

Subs: Butland, Dalot, Maguire, Williams, Fred, Sabitzer, Garnacho, Martial, Sancho.
