Manchester United XI vs Leicester: Confirmed team news, predicted lineup and injury latest for FA Cup

Kobbie Mainoo played as a false 9 for Manchester United against Crystal Palace - (ES Composite)

Manchester United will be without Lisandro Martinez for their FA Cup clash with Leicester on Friday night.

Martinez was taken off on a stretcher during United’s 2-0 defeat at home to Crystal Palace on Sunday, with Ruben Amorim admitting it looked a “serious situation”.

It is unwelcome news for the United boss, who has struggled to turn things around at the club since replacing Erik ten Hag in November.

United are also without Jonny Evans and Mason Mount but were handed a boost in regards to another defender recently.

Luke Shaw is back in United, albeit the England international will not be rushed back into action given how long he’s been out.

Man Utd predicted XI: Onana; Yoro, Maguire, de Ligt; Mazraoui, Ugarte, Fernandes; Dalot; Diallo, Zirkzee, Garnacho

Injured: Martinez, Evans, Mount

Doubts: Shaw

Time and date: 7pm GMT on Friday 7pm GMT February 2025

Venue: Old Trafford, Manchester

TV channel and live stream: ITVX
