Manchester United XI vs Barcelona: Starting lineup, confirmed team news and injury latest today

Manchester United have both Antony and Harry Maguire back on the bench against Barcelona in the Europa League tonight, as Jadon Sancho returns to the starting lineup.

England defender Maguire missed the win over former club Leicester in the Premier League on Sunday with a knee issue but is available for the second leg of this enthralling play-off round tie.

Lisandro Martinez is free of the suspension that ruled him out of the first leg and starts, as Luke Shaw shifts over to left-back again having lined up in the middle at the Camp Nou.

Brazilian winger Antony, meanwhile, returns after a four-match absence with a leg injury to bolster Erik ten Hag’s attacking options from the bench.

United may opt to move Wout Weghorst back up front after Jadon Sancho excelled in behind the striker late on against Leicester, moving Marcus Rashford to the left wing. That front line provides plenty of flexibility.

However, Anthony Martial remains injured after failing to recover from a hip problem in time for the game at Old Trafford and is absent from the squad again.

Man United XI: De Gea, Wan-Bissaka, Varane, Martinez, Shaw, Casemiro, Fred, Sancho, Fernandes, Rashford, Weghorst

Subs: Heaton, Lindelof, Maguire, Malacia, Sabitzer, Dalot, Antony, Elanga, Pellistri, McTominay, Garnacho, Mainoo
