Tottenham Hotspur could potentially jump to fourth in the Premier League table on Saturday afternoon, as they face Manchester United at Old Trafford.
The last meeting at Old Trafford between the two sides produced one of Spurs' best games in recent history, with the Lilywhites running rampant in Manchester as they defeated United 6-1. Harry Kane and Heung-min Son both scored braces in that sensational win, with Serge Aurier and Tanguy Ndombele also finding the net.
Another win for Spurs this time around could see them side move ahead of United in the Premier League table by one point, with Antonio Conte's side also having an extra two games in hand on Ralf Rangnick's side. And depending on Arsenal's result, Spurs could end the weekend in fourth place, higher than their north London rivals on goal difference.
A dominant display in Spurs' last outing saw Harry Kane shine in a 5-0 win over Everton, but after coming off injured at half-time, Ryan Sessegnon is a major doubt for Saturday's clash. Sergio Reguilon will take his place at left wing-back, whilst Oliver Skipp and Japhet Tanganga both remain sidelined.
So, what line-ups will both teams select? And, what could the final score be?
To find out, we used FIFA 22 to get a score prediction for Manchester United vs Spurs on Saturday. This is what happened...
Man United vs Tottenham score predicted by simulation
We used kick-off mode in FIFA 22, but didn't select a team to control, we then selected the teams and watched the match play out by itself, to give us a score prediction.
We predict that United could set up in a 4-2-3-1 formation, with their line-up as follows:De Gea; Dalot, Varane, Maguire, Telles; McTominay, Pogba; Sancho, Fernandes, Elanga; Ronaldo.
We predict that Conte's side could set up in a 3-4-3 formation, with their line-up as follows: Lloris; Romero, Dier, Davies; Doherty, Bentancur, Hojbjerg, Reguilon; Kulusevski, Kane, Son.
Following a slow start from Spurs, it was United who looked the more likely team to score in the opening minutes, with a handful of promising attacks seeing Ronaldo and Jadon Sancho both come close. The home side finally took the lead five minutes before the break, with Anthony Elanga finding the net.
After peeling off the back of Matt Doherty outside the box, Elanga was found with a fantastic through ball from Paul Pogba. The Swedish winger took on his defender before firing a fantastic effort across goal and into the top corner for the lead.
But Tottenham's response was incredible, with Spurs equalising less than a minute after the resulting kick-off. Conte's side pushed into the final third with Dejan Kulusevski and Doherty linking up well down the right, and the latter found Rodrigo Bentancur deep into the box, who then found Kane.
Kane opted against shooting himself though, and after some naive defending from Telles which saw the Brazilian leave Bentancur unmarked, Kane played the ball back to the midfielder who rifled past David De Gea at his near post.
After an eventful first half, the second 45 minutes produced quite the opposite. United failed to register a shot in the second half as they struggled to open up space in the final third, whilst Spurs only managed one.
Marcus Rashford was introduced in the 68th minute as United looked to add some pace to their attack, but the winger was given a straight red card six minutes later for a late challenge on Kane. Rashford recklessly charged through the back of Kane with his studs showing, leaving the ref with no option but to produce a red card.
Although Conte's side pushed hard for a winner in the closing stages, United managed to hold firm to claim a draw, with Spurs having to settle for a point at Old Trafford.
FIFA 22 predicted final score: Man United 1-1 Spurs
Here are the full-time match stats.
FIFA 22 predicts that after equalising just before half-time, Spurs could struggle to create chances in the second-half at Old Trafford, despite being a man up for just under 20 minutes. Defensively, Spurs could put in a strong display and limit United to just a couple of chances, but a disjointed attacking performance could see them head back to London with just a point.
