Manchester United vs Newcastle Carabao Cup final date, ticket details and TV channel

Manchester United have progressed to the Carabao Cup final after defeating Nottingham Forest over two legs.

United put the tie to bed in the first leg thanks to a 3-0 win at the City Ground. Antony and Bruno Fernandes scored on either side of Wout Weghorst's first goal for the club and have progressed following the 2-0 win in the second leg.

Now United will face Newcastle in the Carabao Cup final. Eddie Howe's side have been in great form this season and find themselves in the race to finish in the top four while also reaching their first final since 1999.

When the two sides faced each other earlier on in the season at Old Trafford with the score finishing 0-0. United had a number of penalty shouts denied in that game that the fans believed should have been given, especially a challenge on Jadon Sancho.

That is in the past now and Erik ten Hag wants to look forward, so when is the Carabao Cup final, when do tickets go on sale and if you aren't able to watch the game in the stadium, what TV channel will it be broadcast on? Let's take a look:

When is the final?

United will take on Newcastle at Wembley Stadium in London on February 26th, 2023.

When do tickets go on sale?

A statement on United's website confirmed: "All the information will be live on the club's away-games tickets page from 23:00 GMT on Wednesday.

"Applications will be accepted from 08:00 GMT on Friday 3 February until the same time on Wednesday 7 February, from Executive Club members, Wheelchair-User Season-Ticket holders and Full Season-Ticket holders (including Amenity Season-Ticket holders), who have a ticket for all home cup games (including those who forwarded or donated where applicable)."

What TV channel can you watch the final on?

The Carabao Cup final will be broadcast on Sky Sports. Highlights will be available after the game on the EFL Cup's official YouTube channel and you can also follow all the action through the Manchester Evening News' live blog.
