Manchester United have officially unveiled their new Adidas away shirt ahead of the start of the 2022/23 campaign in Melbourne.
The Reds, who registered a second win in as many pre-season outings on Friday, beating Melbourne Victory 4-1, have released their new away strip a little over a week after they officially unveiled their home kit for the new campaign. The away strip is made up of plain white and features traditional United red and black stripes on the shoulders.
The Adidas logo features in black and the club crest, just as it is on the new home shirt, is inserted inside a shield on a black background. The new shirt also features the TeamViewer sponsor emblazoned across the front of the shirt, while their new sleeve sponsor, DXC Technology, also features.

United, who are understood to be closing in on the signing of Ajax defender Lisandro Martinez, have entered a multi-year partnership with DXC Technology ahead of the start of the new season. The agreement will see the American-based IT company's logo appear on all of the club's strips this coming season.
That means the logo will be visible on the home shirt, away shirt and expected third shirt, the latter of which is yet to be released. Manufacturing company Kohler had been United's official shirt sleeve sponsor since 2018.
Just like the home shirt, the new away strip has a retro feet to its design, with the club crest being inserted inside a shield reminiscent of the kit worn during the 1998/99 Champions League-winning season. It also has a similar feel to away/third kit United wore between 2010 and 2012, with the red and black on the shoulders being the biggest similarities.
