Former Aston Villa striker Gabriel Agbonlahor believes Manchester United need to sign "15 new players" this summer following Saturday's dismal 4-0 defeat to Brighton & Hove Albion.
United travelled to the Amex Stadium looking to build on their 3-0 win over Brentford five days earlier and were blown away by a Brighton side that had not won at home since Boxing Day. Moises Caicedo, who was a target for United last year, swept the Seagulls into a first-half lead before Graham Potter's side produced a devastating 11-minute spell after half-time.
Marc Cucurella scored just four minutes after the interval to double Brighton's lead, signalling the beginning of an onslaught. Pascal Gross and Leandro Trossard each found the back of the net before the clock struck the hour-mark to fire the home side into a 4-0 lead.

Despite being battered by the likes of Liverpool and Watford, amongst others, this season, this was a whole new low for United, once again highlighting the sheer size of the challenge awaiting incoming boss Erik ten Hag next season. Mass changes need to be made to the squad and it is currently unclear how many new signings could be needed to put them back on the route to success.
For former Villa and England striker Agbonlahor, United need to recruit 15 new faces to try and improve the situation. Interim boss Ralf Rangnick, following the 4-0 defeat to Liverpool last month, admitted ten new additions could be drafted in.
"When you look at that performance today [on Saturday] they need 15 new players," Aghonlahor told talkSPORT. "Not one player in that team will Ten Hag look at from today's performance and want to play next season.
"They were not bothered and had no passion to play for Manchester United. I know we don't like using the term 'they're on the beach' but it looked like they were.
"Brighton are a good, good team but Manchester united should never be losing 4-0 to Brighton. They let the club down, the fans were singing 'you're not fit to wear the shirt' and all of them were poor today.
"It's funny how you can't blame [Paul] Pogba for today, you can't blame Harry Maguire. Maybe players like Raphael Varane need calling out because he's been very poor this season."
