Manchester United told they have their own Oleksandr Zinchenko amid Arsenal title charge

Aaron Wan-Bissaka has been compared with Arsenal defender Oleksandr Zinchenko as he continues to shine for Manchester United this season.

Having totted-up only four competitive minutes before the World Cup break, Wan-Bissaka has started the last seven Premier League games with United picking up 16 points from a possible 21 in those matches. In fact, their solitary defeat in that sequence came against the table-topping Gunners.

Wan-Bissaka will now go toe-to-toe with fit-again Diogo Dalot for a regular place in the United line-up. As for Zinchenko, meanwhile, he has been a major reason for Arsenal putting together a charge for the title this term following his summer transfer from Manchester City.

But what has prompted such an upturn in form for Wan-Bissaka this campaign? Speaking about the right-back to MyBettingSites, former United defender Paul Parker said: "Wan-Bissaka has definitely stepped up and he has raised his own bar.

"He's not perfect at all, but it looks like he has the willingness to do a really good job. He has been very brave, and he reminds me a bit of Zinchenko.

"There are not a lot of English full-backs that can play the way he's playing. Ten Hag is in a really good position on that right full-back position.

"He has two really good players, but it's up to Diogo Dalot to reclaim his position. I think fans would agree that there's no need to get a new right-back as Wan-Bissaka and Dalot can do the job very well."

Wan-Bissaka was made available for transfer by United last summer, but the £50million recruit has forced his way back into the fold to make 13 appearances in all competitions this season. He has 18 months left to run on his contract with the Old Trafford giants.
