Jadon Sancho claim
Manchester United legend Paul Scholes has suggested Jadon Sancho would benefit from the Reds signing a 'better' right back in the summer transfer window.
Sancho has so far struggled at Old Trafford since joining United from Borussia Dortmund in the summer of 2021 for around £73million. He spent time away from the first team squad earlier this season, with Reds boss Erik ten Hag admitting the England international was not physically or mentally in the right state to play.

The 22-year-old was reintroduced to the squad in February and got on the scoresheet twice last month in the Premier League - against Leeds United and Leicester City. The attacker, who has registered five goals and an assist this season, has showed glimpses of his quality but he will be looking to rediscover his best form in the coming months.
And, Scholes believes Sancho would be helped by having a more attacking right-back behind him - suggesting an upgrade on Diogo Dalot and Aaron Wan-Bissaka could be the answer.

Amad Diallo boost
Sunderland manager Tony Mowbray has confirmed the return to training of Amad Diallo, with feint hope the Manchester United loanee could be involved against Luton Town in the Championship on Saturday.
Amad has been in fine form for the Black Cats this season, registering eight goals and three assists since penning a season-long loan deal from United last summer. But the 20-year-old suffered a hamstring injury during a 5-1 defeat at home to Stoke City at the start of March, missing a win at Norwich and defeat against Sheffield United.
His return to fitness was confirmed by Mowbray and the Reds youngster could be involved in some capacity on Saturday.
"A few didn't train today so we'll see tomorrow to see if they're going to be alright," Mowbray said. "Amad trained today so there's a positive for us."
