Tottenham frontman Harry Kane admits he would like to try his hand - or feet - as a kicker in the NFL amid transfer interest from Manchester United heading into the summer window.
Having allowed Cristiano Ronaldo to leave mid-season, United initially made England captain Kane the prime target in their search for a prolific new striker. However, as things stand, there has been no breakthrough when it comes to signing the three-time Golden Boot winner when the market reopens.
Kane, who turns 30 this summer, has enjoyed a stellar individual campaign - scoring 30 goals in the Premier League alone while also becoming the all-time top scorer for club and country. He has Alan Shearer's division high 260-goal tally firmly in his sights moving forward.

Amid intense speculation over his future, Kane is now only 47 shy in that target as he attempts to finally add team silverware to his impressive personal achievements. As and when he does that, though, could an unlikely change in careers beckon for the NFL-loving England footballer?
Kane has addressed that ambition before and was asked about it, once again, by Good Morning America presenter, Michael Strahan, who used to play in the NFL himself before switching to broadcasting.
In response to a question about previous NFL comments, Kane - whose contract at Tottenham expires in 13 months - said: "It's something I want to definitely explore. I know it'll be a lot of hard work, and I'm not expecting to just rock up and start kicking field goals.
"It'd take a lot of practice and a lot of hard work. But it's something I'd love to do.
"The NFL is something I've been following for about 10 years now. I love it, so I'd love to give it a go."
