Everton goalkeeper Asmir Begovic is being 'targeted' by Manchester United, it has been suggested.
The Red Devils continue to be linked with a whole host of names in the transfer market and are now hunting for a No. 2 to challenge David De Gea after allowing Dean Henderson to spend the season on loan at Nottingham Forest.
Tom Heaton is also on the books of United, though he is currently viewed as a third choice option despite his vast experience. A latest report by the Telegraph has explained Begovic is viewed 35-year-old as the 'perfect back-up' to De Gea while adding that Frank Lampard is 'determined' to keep hold of the Bosnian shot-stopper.

The report adds that Everton are optimistic of keeping the former Stoke City goalkeeper at the club until the end of the current campaign. Begovic joined the Blues on a free transfer last summer from Bournemouth. His one-year deal included the option for a second and, which was activated by the club at the end of last season.
Serving as Jordan Pickford's understudy during 2021/22, he made a total of seven appearances in all competitions for the Tofffees.
