Erik ten Hag has revealed that Manchester United will be without two strikers for their trip to Stamford Bridge on Saturday.
The news comes as Cristiano Ronaldo is demoted to training on his own after refusing to come on as a substitute against Tottenham earlier this week. Ronaldo then walked down the tunnel early.
The Portuguese forward has since been reprimanded for his actions by Ten Hag and will not be part of the squad that travels to SW6 to face Graham Potter's side in the new manager's first top six clash in charge.

Chelsea are currently on a seven game unbeaten run under Potter and have kept five clean sheets in a row. They won't have to worry about stopping Ronaldo anymore and have also learnt that Anthony Martial is unavailable for selection.
The 26-year-old remains out with a back injury that forced him off the pitch in the first half against Everton last week. Martial missed United's matches against Tottenham and Newcastle.
He has scored two times and assisted twice in four appearances this season as injuries continue to hamper his first team aspirations at Old Trafford. So far this campaign, he has played less than 150 minutes. He has been replaced, in effect, by new signing Antony and the Brazilian has three goals in his first five league games already.
He has been playing alongside Marcus Rashford who has had an up-turn in form following a poor 2021/22 campaign. The 24-year-old has three goals in the league, one less than he managed in the entirety of last season, and is looking for a chance to impress Gareth Southgate ahead of the World Cup.
Rashford has fallen out of favour for his country and hasn't played since the European Championships final last year. He didn't start a game at the tournament and hasn't been picked for a squad since. His progression this season may make Southgate rethink his decision though. With the imminent announcement of a provisional 55-man squad, Rashford is likely to be part of a group of hopefuls that have three weeks to impress.
Ruben Loftus-Cheek, Conor Gallagher and Trevoh Chalobah are also in the same category as outsiders.
