Manchester United have confirmed details of a ticket ballot ahead of their Carabao Cup final encounter with Newcastle United. The Red Devils will face Eddie Howe's side at Wembley on February 26, having dispatched Nottingham Forest in the semi-final.
Newcastle announced ticket information would be announced in the 'coming days', with high demand certain for the club's first cup-final appearance since 1999. The Magpies knocked out Bournemouth, Crystal Park, Leicester City, and Southampton in front of sellout crowds at St James' Park, as well as negotiating a tricky second-round away tie at Tranmere Rovers.
Speculation on social media has mounted over how Newcastle will manage the sale of their Wembley allocation. Nothing has been confirmed at this stage, but the strategy at Old Trafford could offer a clue over how the Magpies hierarchy might manage their own offering.

Manchester United fans who have purchased tickets for 'all home cup games this season' will be invited to apply for a Carabao Cup final ballot. Applications will be accepted from Friday morning until 8am on February 8, with successful supporters finding out by 'no later' than February 13.
Ticket information on the club website reads: "Applications will be accepted from Executive Club Members, wheelchair user Season Ticket holders and Full Season Ticket holders (including amenity) who who have purchased a ticket for all home cup games this season (email communication has been sent to all Season Ticket Holders to advise them of their status).
"Applications will open at 8am Friday 3rd February until 8am Wednesday 8th February. The ballot will then be processed over the weekend and results will be communicated by email no later than 5pm on Monday 13th February."
