Manchester United striker Marcus Rashford can break former teammate Wayne Rooney's record of scoring in eight consecutive home games against Charlton Athletic.
The England international equalled Rooney's record of seven when he converted his stoppage-time penalty in the FA Cup victory over Everton on Friday night.
Rashford, should he play, will have the chance to break the 11-year record when Erik ten Hag's side faces off against League One outfit Charlton in the League Cup quarter-finals on Tuesday.

The record - which consists of scoring in home games in all competitions - was set by Rooney in February 2012. He registered goals against sides such as Athletic Club, West Brom, Fulham, QPR, Aston Villa and Everton.
Meanwhile, Rashford's run began when he bagged against FC Sherrif in the Europa League, before scoring against West Ham United in the Premier League and Aston Villa in the Carabao Cup. He then enjoyed a productive World Cup campaign with England, registering three goals in five appearances for the Three Lions.
Upon resumption of the domestic campaign, the 25-year-old netted against Burnley in the Carabao Cup and then found the back of the net against Nottingham Forest and Bournemouth in the Premier League. He then equalled the record with his spot-kick against Frank Lampard's side.
Rashford has been in scintillating form so far this season, registering 13 goals and six assists in 24 appearances. The attacker is currently the club's top goalscorer, but Ten Hag is still keen to recruit a new striker in January following the departure of Cristiano Ronaldo in November.
During his time at Old Trafford, Rooney scored 253 goals and remains the club's all-time top goalscorer in history.
