Manchester United manager Ralf Rangnick is expected to freshen up the team for Saturday's Premier League fixture at home to Watford.
United drew 1-1 with Atletico Madrid in their Champions League round-of-16 first leg on Wednesday night and United could reopen a four-point advantage in fourth with a third successive league win.
Cristiano Ronaldo could continue up front as Edinson Cavani is still absent with a groin injury and Scott McTominay is out due to illness again. Nemanja Matic could start in midfield after his impact off the bench against Atletico.
Anthony Elanga is pushing for a start after his instant impact in Madrid while Diogo Dalot and Aaron Wan-Bissaka are in contention to come in at right-back.
Hannibal Mejbri, a matchday squad member against Atletico, played against Derby for the Under-23s on Friday night.
"I also must say while all the headlines were quite logically in [Elanga]'s favour it was not only him, I think," Rangnick said. "In the second-half, we changed the momentum, we regrouped the whole team, it was not only him but the other players and other substitutes, including Nemanja Matic, who helped to change the game."
After the Watford fixture, United do not play again for eight days as they were ejected from the FA Cup by Middlesbrough earlier this month, affording them a full week to prepare for the Manchester derby at the Etihad.
United then host Tottenham on March 12 and Atletico arrive at Old Trafford for the second leg three days later.
The match between Liverpool and United, currently scheduled for March 20, could be pushed back if Liverpool overcome Norwich in the fifth round of the FA Cup.
