Manchester United's Tyrell Malacia has been named in the Netherlands' provisional squad for this month's Nations League matches.
United signed Malacia, 23, from Feyenoord for just £12.9million this summer and the player is attempting to become Erik ten Hag's first-choice left-back ahead of Luke Shaw, who started in the club's humiliating defeats against Brighton and Brentford.
Malacia has started against Liverpool, Southampton and Leicester and United have won each of those fixtures. Malacia is also expected to retain his place in the starting line up when United take on Arsenal in the Premier League this weekend.

The left-back will join up with the Netherlands squad later this month for Nations League matches against Poland and Belgium, but he won't travel with Donny van de Beek, who has been left out of the squad yet again by manager Louis van Gaal.
Van de Beek left United on a six-month loan in January due to concerns over his game time but he failed to make a strong impression at Everton. Although it was hoped the arrival of Erik ten Hag would benefit Van de Beek, he continues to be a fringe player.
Van de Beek has not made a single start this season and he's played a total of 19 minutes across three substitute appearances. Former United boss Van Gaal has consistently omitted Van de Beek from his plans during his time as the Netherlands' manager.
The 71-year-old has always maintained that Van de Beek needs to regularly play to make his Netherlands squad.
Van de Beek's latest snub almost certainly confirms he will not play at the 2022 Qatar World Cup this winter.
