Here are your Friday morning Manchester United headlines.
Pre-season opponents
Manchester United will be touring the US this summer as Erik ten Hag puts together his plans for the 2023/24 campaign.
It will be United's first return across the pond since the rather disastrous Jose Mourinho tour of 2018. During that trip, the Reds' manager made headlines for his near constant negative approach to the pre-season fixtures.

While Ten Hag will not suffer from some of the difficulties that plagued United's last trip to the USA, one similarity will remain, that United are expected to play a host of European teams during their travels. As of yet, no opponents have been officially confirmed for the tour but MEN Sport has taken a look at some of the teams who could potentially face the Reds before the start of next season.

Berbatov's Palhinha verdict
Former striker Dimitar Berbatov believes Fulham midfielder Joao Palhinha would be a good fit for Manchester United amid ongoing speculation about his future.
The Portuguese international, who joined Fulham from Sporting Lisbon last July, has excelled in his debut campaign in the Premier League, establishing himself as one of the signings of the season. One of the pre-season favourites to be relegated, the Cottagers have enjoyed a very successful first campaign back in the top flight, inspired by Palhinha's brilliance in midfield.
The 27-year-old is often at the heart of Fulham's good fortune and is central to the way that they play. He was excellent during their 3-1 FA Cup quarter-final defeat to United at Old Trafford on Sunday, leaving several Reds supporters suggesting that he could be an ideal understudy for Casemiro.
