Manchester United dropped down a place in the Premier League table after losing 2-0 to Newcastle United at St. James' Park on Sunday afternoon.
Erik ten Hag's side were leapfrogged by the Magpies after Joe Willock and Callum Wilson scored for the home side. It was an underwhelming performance from the Reds, who have now gone three top-flight matches without a win.
The Reds, who are now fourth in the table on 50 points, could drop below Tottenham in the table if the London outfit manage to overcome Everton at Goodison Park on Monday night.

As the race to secure Champions League qualification for next season continues to intensify, MEN Sport has taken a close look at United's next six fixtures and compared them with those of their rivals.
Manchester United - 4th (50pts)
- Brentford (H) - April 5
- Everton (H) - April 8
- Nottingham Forest (A) - April 16
- Tottenham Hotspur (A) - April 27
- Aston Villa (H) - April 30
- Brighton (A) - May 4
Verdict: Having gone three Premier League matches without a victory, Ten Hag's men will be desperate to get back to winning ways in the top-flight. The home clash against Brentford in midweek will be a difficult test, but the Reds need to be targeting all three points. With a game against relegation-threatened Everton at the weekend, United have a good chance to make progress in their quest for a top-four finish.
The two away games against Nottingham Forest and Tottenham will be challenging, as will the home tie against Aston Villa. If United can manage to take nine points from those three matches, that would be a step in the right direction. The Reds begin May with a tough test away at Brighton, and their position will be much clearer at that point.
