Manchester United's next six Premier League fixtures compared to their top-four rivals

Manchester United have been in frustrating form in recent weeks as they chase down a spot in the top four.

Their victory over Brighton on Tuesday night was much-needed as Ralf Rangnick's men prepare for a tricky run of fixtures.

United currently lie in fourth position but are only two points clear of West Ham in fifth.

Here's how United's next six Premier League fixtures shape up along with the upcoming schedules of their nearest rivals.

Sunday, February 20 - Leeds United (A)

Rangnick will be hoping that United can continue their momentum against their old foes this weekend.

Leeds are currently out of form and will be wary of slipping into a relegation battle.

A 3-0 thumping from fellow strugglers Everton did little to brighten the mood in Yorkshire.

Saturday, February 26 - Watford ( H)

After a trip to Atletico Madrid in the Champions League, United return to domestic action against the Hornets.

Roy Hodgson has recently taken charge of Watford and will be hoping to galvanise his players in order to avoid the drop.

With home advantage, United will be hoping to pile more misery on the Premier League strugglers.

Sunday, March 6 - Manchester City (A)

Rangnick will be taking his United side to the Etihad Stadium at the start of March.

City look to be running away with the league but are still not clear enough to take their foot off the gas.

Their battering of Sporting Lisbon in the first leg of their Champions League tie means they will be able to rest players in the midweek fixture before the derby.

Saturday, March 12 - Tottenham Hotspur (H)

A huge game in the race for the top four follows the derby.

Antonio Conte's side will still have hopes of qualifying for the Champions League when they head to Old Trafford next month.

Spurs are currently in poor form so United will be hopeful of securing the three points on home turf.

Sunday, March 20 - Liverpool (A)

The tough fixtures keep on coming after a break in midweek for the Champions League.

Jurgen Klopp's Liverpool are likely to still be pushing for the title and will be wanting bragging rights.

Rangnick will expect a tough game against his compatriot on Merseyside.

Saturday, April 2 - Leicester City (H)

Once the international break is out of the way, United will host the Foxes.

Brendan Rodgers' side have had a disappointing season compared to recent campaigns.

They will most likely have little to play for when they visit Old Trafford.
