Manchester United are reportedly still interested in doing a deal for Inter Milan goalkeeper Andre Onana despite claims the move had collapsed.
It had been said that the Red Devils do not want to fork out £40million for the Cameroon international, with the Daily Mail stating that Feyenoord’s Justin Bijlow had been identified as an alternative option.
Furthermore, Dutch outlet Voetbal International have reported that Bijlow wants to sign for United but will be denied the move by the Eredivisie champions, who want to offer him a new contract.
That means Onana could still end up at Old Trafford with a compromise in the works, according to La Gazzetta dello Sport via TMW.
United want to bring down Inter’s price tag with add-ons and bonuses inserted into the deal for the 27-year-old.
In the meantime, David De Gea’s future remains in flux after his contract expired.
