Luke Shaw believes Bruno Fernandes' equalising goal for Manchester United against Manchester City was correctly given.
Fernandes looked to have equalised in the 78th minute of the match, but the officials took a moment to deliberate about whether Marcus Rashford, who did not touch the ball in the build-up, was interfering with play from an offside position.
Referee Stuart Atwell decided to award the goal, deeming that Rashford did not interfere with Manuel Akanji, who was attempting to run back to his goal, and United went on to win 2-1 at Old Trafford.

The decision was a controversial talking point after the game and Pep Guardiola was furious it was given, while Erik ten Hag admitted in a post-match interview that he would be 'unhappy' if his side conceded a goal in that manner.
An honest Ten Hag told MUTV: "I would be unhappy if I conceded a goal like that because it brings hesitation - it's a grey area. Also for the referee, a really difficult situation to judge."
However, Shaw disagrees with that verdict, as he explained that he thinks Rashford was not interfering with the attack.
"You can see obviously the argument from both sides, but for me, the runner who was with Rashy is not able to get the ball, so for me, he doesn't interfere with the ball and he's clever enough to know Bruno is there," Shaw told MUTV.
"Thankfully, Bruno [Fernandes] kept running and scored. The referee and linesman were talking and I thought I heard him saying it was a goal, so I knew it was going to be given."
