Manchester United's business in the 2022 January transfer window is now complete.
Ahead of the window, the Manchester Evening News understood new signings were unlikely in January unless funds could be raised through permanent departures. That didn't happen and United had a quiet window in terms of incomings, as was expected.
However, there were multiple players that left the club on loan deals, with Ralf Rangnick trimming down the size of his squad.
Rangnick had made it clear United's squad was inflated and the January window was an opportunity to solve that problem, however, some players, like Dean Henderson and Jesse Lingard, were denied transfers despite seeking moves away from United.
