Cristiano Ronaldo has been nominated for the Premier League's Player of the Month award.
Although Manchester United took just five points from six games against Leicester, Everton, Norwich, Liverpool, Arsenal and Chelsea in April, Ronaldo performed well on an individual basis. The forward scored an impressive five goals in the four games he featured in - Ronaldo was unavailable for United's matches against Leicester and Liverpool - and that haul included a hat trick against Norwich.
Ronaldo has scored a total of 24 goals in 38 appearances for United this season and only Liverpool's Mohamed Salah and Tottenham's Son Heung-min have more goals in the Premier League. The forward has often single-handedly won points for United this term.

The 37-year-old is bidding to win the monthly accolade again after being named Player of the Month in September. Ronaldo has won the personal prize a total of five times and only Steven Gerrard (6), Sergio Aguero (7) and Harry Kane (7) have won it more.
David de Gea is the most recent United player to have won the award this season after claiming it in January. De Gea became the first goalkeeper to win the monthly prize since February 2016 on that occasion.
