A group of 15 senior players are expected to report back to Manchester United's Carrington base on Monday morning for the start of pre-season training.
Some players have already visited Carrington for pre-season medicals ahead of the bread and butter of pre-season getting under way this forthcoming week. It will mark the beginning of the Erik ten Hag era in M16 and United's players, if Ten Hag's previous methods are anything to go by, will have to hit the ground running.
United's players are poised to report back to Carrington in stages, with several members of the squad having been called-up to their national squads for the June internationals earlier this month. That means that the likes of Harry Maguire, Bruno Fernandes and Cristiano Ronaldo, plus others, are not expected to link-up with Ten Hag and the remainder of the squad just yet.

However, Ten Hag should still have a wealth of talent to cast his eye over, such as England duo Marcus Rashford and Jadon Sancho. Neither of the United wingers were included in Gareth Southgate's squad for the four Nations League fixtures earlier this month, so will be eager to impress in pre-season.
As well as those two being expected to report back for the first day of pre-season, goalkeepers David de Gea, Dean Henderson and Tom Heaton are also set to be in attendance. However, it remains to be seen how long Henderson will be around for, with his move to Nottingham Forest very close to being completed.
Seven senior defenders are also poised to resume training on the opening day of pre-season, including returning loanees Axel Tuanzebe and Brandon Williams. Both players will be aiming to impress Ten Hag before decisions are made on their respective futures.
Elsewhere, Donny van de Beek and Antony Martial — who also spent time away from Old Trafford on loan last season — are scheduled to return. Van de Beek will be reunited with his old Ajax boss Ten Hag and will be determined to prove to his fellow countryman that he still has a part to play, following a slow start to his United career.
The 15 players who expected to attend pre-season training on Monday: David de Gea, Dean Henderson, Tom Heaton; Aaron Wan-Bissaka, Victor Lindelof, Eric Bailly, Phil Jones, Axel Tuanzebe, Brandon Williams, Luke Shaw; Donny van de Beek; Amad, Jadon Sancho, Marcus Rashford, Anthony Martial.
