Manchester United receive Anthony Martial injury boost ahead of Brighton fixture

Manchester United appear to have been handed an injury boost after Anthony Martial was seen with the squad ahead of the FA Cup semi-final clash against Brighton.

Erik ten Hag's side take on the Seagulls at Wembley on Sunday afternoon, with a place in the final - against either Manchester City or Sheffield United - up for grabs. It appeared as though the Reds would be without Martial for the clash with Brighton after he limped off against Sevilla on Thursday night.

The French striker started in the Europa League quarter-final second leg game, but he was taken off in the second half and replaced by Wout Weghorst. It was Martial's seventh injury set-back of the campaign, and Ten Hag admitted he was unsure about the state of his United squad ahead of the game on Sunday.

However, it appears as though the 27-year-old could be part of the squad after he was spotted walking with United players and staff in London on Saturday morning.

A fan posted a video to Twitter of the squad out on a walk ahead of the FA Cup semi-final, and Martial was present in a full club training tracksuit.

Martial has registered seven goals and three assists in 20 appearances in all competitions this season, but he has missed a host of matches through injury.
