Did not get much hassle from Erling Haaland. Resorted to the odd piece of cynical defending for the benefit of the team. Big header late on. 8
Tyrell Malacia
Justified his selection with a comprehensive outing but he was lured out of position for Jack Grealish's goal. 6
Casemiro
His role changed slightly with Christian Eriksen as the 10 and he tried to get United up the pitch. Could not stop Kevin de Bruyne from crossing for Grealish. Dogged in defending the lead. 7
Fred
Skinned by Kevin de Bruyne early on, he won two duels with the Belgian that stirred the crowd with his commitment and proactive play. Another fine derby display. 8
Christian Eriksen
Moved forward to the No.10 role, he linked the play well when he got the ball in the first half but waned in the second and was substituted. 5
Bruno Fernandes
Shot wide when he should have at least hit the target. Made amends by equalising for the game-changing moment. 7
Marcus Rashford
Had two excellent chances before he broke down and required treatment at the end of the first half. Effectively got an 'assist' by leaving the ball for Fernandes and then made it 2-1. 8

Irked the crowd on at least two occasions and came off at half-time. It was impossible to tell if he was injured, Martial was that lackadaisical. 4
