Forced off with an apparent hamstring strain and looked distraught, having missed six months through injury this year. 5
Brandon Williams
Somehow avoided a yellow card when two of his crude tackles warranted yellows. Cleared off the line but the shot was possibly going wide. 4
Zidane Iqbal
Not as effective as in midweek as Betis retained possession more authoritatively and he could not break forward as much. Grew a bit after the break. 6
Scott McTominay
Captained United again and had a couple of shots that were nearer the away fans in the third tier than the goalframe. 5
Isak Hansen-Aaroen
An 11th-hour inclusion after Donny van de Beek dropped out, Hansen-Aaroen looked overawed at times. 5
Anthony Elanga
Very ineffectual again from the right wing, a role none of United's right-footed forwards seem to want to play. 4
Alejandro Garnacho
United's brightest outfield player again without having a standout moment. Played for an hour before he was replaced. 6
Anthony Martial
Came through a half and was presumably rested after missing 13 weeks of the season with three separate injuries. Isolated and not as involved as in Cadiz. 5

Replaced Mengi in the first-half and can be pleased with his outing. 6
Tom Heaton
Made a decent stop early on but soon beaten by Nabil Fekir. Made a couple of other good stops to highlight why he should be No.2 to De Gea. 7

One of only two newbies who have played two halves this week and he has shown an admirable temperament. 6
Kobbie Mainoo
Earned another half after his impact against Cadiz and showed why. Can expect more training time with the first-team beyond this week. 6
Shola Shoretire
Still only 18, he has plateaued at United and it is showing in the friendlies. Next month is maybe time for a loan. 5

A first appearance for the first-team since Ole Gunnar Solskjaer's last summer as manager. 5
