One of the few cool heads out there in red, Shaw read the game impressively on his return to centre half. Moved to left-back when Lisandro Martinez emerged. Excellent cross for Marcus Rashford. 7

Put himself about and was not intimidated by the bilious atmosphere. A decent hour ahead of a likely start against Barcelona. 6

Struggled to provide United with any midfield presence, his passing was often hasty and Erik ten Hag was unhappy with his positioning at times. 5
