Not stringently tested by Neal Maupay and had one of his easier encounters at Everton. Steadier next to Lisandro Martinez than in midweek. 7

Lisandro Martinez
Dealt with Maupay robustly and had enough time on the ball to play it adventurously. Didn't waver when Dominic Calvert-Lewin came on. 8
Luke Shaw
Attacked regularly but his end product in the final third was blunt too often. Improved as the game developed. 6
Casemiro
Pick-pocketed for the goal and missed a sitter with a header but his piercing pass assisted Cristiano Ronaldo and he was better in the second-half. 7

An improvement on recent performances, although Everton were curiously standoffish against the Dane, who was the glue in several United attacks. 7

His best performance in a United shirt. Took his goal superbly and was more direct with his play. Quieter in the second-half. 7

Quietly effective behind the striker and he seized on Idrissa Gueye's error to turn defence into attack for the equaliser. 6

Bright and should have claimed an assist for Casemiro. Had the measure of Seamus Coleman and had a goal disallowed. 7

Assisted Antony to make it 1-1 but his fitness was an issue before kick-off and he did not last half-an-hour. 6

Scored his 700th club goal to put United 1-0 up. Flicked on for Rashford to score but it was quizzically disallowed. His link up play was superb at times. 8
