Sancho resumed squad training last week while United host Championship side Reading in the FA Cup fourth round on Saturday afternoon, but he will not be involved at Forest.
Amad "has bright future" at United
Manchester United winger Amad Diallo has been told he has a bright future at Old Trafford as he continues to shine on loan with Sunderland.
Having joined United from Atalanta in January 2021 for a fee potentially rising to €40million with add-ons, the Ivory Coast international was handed early opportunities in the first team by Ole Gunnar Solskjaer. He was sent on loan to Rangers last season and temporarily signed for the Black Cats this summer.
Despite struggling in the Scottish Premiership and taking a little while to adjust to life in the Championship, he has dazzled at the Stadium of Light and beyond. Amad has netted seven goals in 22 outings for the club and he was also named Championship Player of the Month for December.
